Whether you're a total newbie or fancy sharpening your skills, this one-day course will have you upholstering your very own round footstool — and yes, it’s as satisfying as it sounds. You'll get stuck into prepping, foaming (although we don’t actually use foam here, we use an eco-friendly alternative!) and the all-important fabric-ing (yes, we’re making that a word). And best of all, you’ll walk out with a handmade beauty ready to take pride of place in your home.

One of the most exciting parts? Choosing your fabric. This is where your footstool’s personality starts to shine. Bold and bright? Cool and classic? We’ve got access to an incredible range of fabrics here at Home and we’re more than happy to help you find the perfect one to make your stool truly yours.

What to Expect:

• A fully guided, super-creative day with expert tuition by Anthony Devine, who has worked in the upholstery industry for almost 30 years. You may have caught his creative-ness on several TV programmes!

• Your own drum footstool to take home (yes, really) measuring approx. 47cm high and 43cm across

• Gorgeous surroundings at the historic Torr Vale Mill

• Tea, coffee, biscuits – because, obviously.

No experience? No problem. Just bring your enthusiasm and one metre of fabric (don’t worry we can help with that too!) and we’ll provide the rest.
